Sakura Blooming Season in Penang

As you might be aware of that recently is a flowers’ blooming season in Penang. The sakura-like flowers of the trees are blooming beautifully. You can spot those along the road from PISA to Pantai Hospital as well as the stretch of road outside Altera in the Bayan Lepas FIZ.

I’m joining in the frenzy with some shots I took myself outside the place I’m staying. There are a couple of such trees too right outside my home but the blooming of the trees is not as full as those trees grown along those stretch of roads mentioned above.

I’m taking a different approach in the photo shooting of those flowers which I hope will give a different feel when viewing those photos. Something different from the rest of the other bloggers :) . The photos were taken at different times of the day. Some were taken early in the morning and some were taken during the afternoon. Hope you enjoy the photos too ^^

    hey that photos of sakura are nice :)

    there is one sakura tree nearby my place but the pain will be ….the droppings :D

    to jessen: yep, they really did. the only thing missing is snow ^^. if there is, it will be so romantic.

    to lisalicious: thanks. the petals drop pretty fast. it will get the ground fully filled up again after like half a day after sweeping those. but having the petals on the ground is also a nice sight of it though :)

    I went to pantai hospital on 14th mar (morning). I saw a lot of pple took photo under the tree. After tht I went to a friend wedding on the same day in Bertam (kepala batas), I supprise over there got a lot more..

    It seems that now is ’sakura’ blooming season in Malaysia :) . you can see the same at Kedah.

    I did have the chance to view the actual sakura trees presented from Japanese citizen to Berlin after the wall came down. Will send you some of the photos soon. It was really pretty and the petals are so soft.
